I’ve been struggling to lose weight consistently. So I thought I’d make and share a list of all the reasons I want to lose the baby weight this fourth and final time.
I’m also thinking back to what worked well the last two times, which I’ll share in an upcoming post.
What I think about what really matters, I’m sure that losing weight and getting back to myself and a normal healthy weight will be strategic for living my values for the rest of my life. Here is my list:
30 Reasons I’m Going to Lose 23 More Pounds in 2017

I love how you gave specific examples of “why” for your boys. That’s huge! They want you involved and healthy. Great idea. I will steal this! 😉
Thanks!! I’ve really got to do this for them. Let me know what you come up with, I might borrow some of your ideas. 🙂
Love this!
I need to lose some weight too- but I really struggle with limiting my diet at all- I always end up going hog wild and bingeing. So I try not to focus on the scale, but how my clothes fit. I am also trying to exercise every day. Well, ok, its been on my mind to do that everyday, but I haven’t actually put it into practice yet.
I love your list- if I were to make one it would be very similar to the physical things you want to accomplish- including living to 85. But my goal is 100. I would actually be thrilled to make it to 80. Neither of my parents made it to 60- they did not have healthy lifestyles. I really want to be a grand mother- that might actually be my life goal : )
Also- if you sign up for a 5 mile race, please let me know- I love running races- I use the Jeff Galloway method of run/walk intervals. I just completed a 10 mile race on Saturday. Slowly- but I finished. I had my fastest mile ever (11 minutes 46 seconds) for the first mile of the race- and I had a 40 minute 5k time, which for me is pretty speedy, lol.
I’m working on a string of posts about weight loss. I hope they’ll be helpful!
that sounds great! I like that your focus is not solely on weight, and more of food as a fuel for overall health.
